TheDivorceResourceGuy I'm sorry you had to deal with such a traumatic event. Threats like suicide should not be taken lightly and I hope she seeks the appropriate help. In a divorce, such behavior is cause for mental health evaluations and cautionary custody and parenting time. The last thing you want is for her to do something in front of the children, or even talk about something like suicide in front of them.
DrD No doubt very difficult time for you. I hope she is getting the help that she needs, but she needs help. I am not sure of your situation or how this unfolded, but regardless, that is a very serious matter. And hope that you and your family have a strong support system - friends, family, therapist, clergy - whatever it takes.
